Vintage Playground was founded in 2012 by Jay Corbin, sneaker historian, award-winning sports marketer, and all around vintage sports enthusiast.

Driven by his pure love for all things sports related, Jay began to amass a  treasure trove of collectibles throughout the years. Once seen as just a box of loved toys, his collection has grown to include some of the most sought after apparel and merchandise in the vintage market today.

Our core sweet spot is what we lovingly refer to as the Golden Age of sports, 1990’s- the era of of concentrated amazing talent. What made this era so special was the amount of players that made iconic plays, and the energy that surrounded them.
